At the end of last year, their first devices based on ARM-processor from Qualcomm, running Windows 10 S, were presented to ASUS and HP. Marketers of Lenovo held the announcement of the ARM-tablet Miix 630 before the opening of CES 2018.

Lenovo Miix 630 is a very typical tablet with a plug-in keyboard, integrated into the cover-stand. The resolution of the 12.3-inch screen of the device leaves 1920 × 1200 pixels, the amount of RAM depending on the model can be 4 or 8 GB, and the capacity of the UFS-drive is 64, 128 or 256 GB. As a processor in its design is used all the same Snapdragon 835, working in tandem with the graphics accelerator Adreno 540.

For access to the Internet, owners of the Miix 630 can use 4G / LTE modules or Wi-Fi 802.11ac 2x2, to communicate with other gadgets - Bluetooth 4.2, everything is as usual. But on the expansion ports the manufacturer has stinted, limited to a single USB-C and a standard audio connector (3.5 mm). Filming photos and video, communication in Skype and authorization in the system with WIndows Hello will provide two cameras of the tablet: 5 and 13 megapixels.

The tablet received a fairly stylish package with a strict design in the spirit of other Lenovo products. Together with the keyboard cover it weighs 1330 grams, having the following dimensions: 293 × 210 × 15.6 mm. A rechargeable battery with a capacity of 48 watts, according to the manufacturer, is enough for 20 hours of video playback. Since this device belongs to the category "Always connected PC", after blocking it turns on instantly, just like smartphones are always connected to online services. In addition, the Miix 630 does not need to be actively cooled and does not make any noise.

In bundle with the tablet (in some versions) Lenovo plans to supply its own digital pen that recognizes up to 1024 degrees of depression. Sales of new items will start in the second quarter of this year at an estimated price of $ 800.
